- Andrea MeddAndrea Medd
Her role as Dame Kelly’s PA
Andrea decided to return to work when her youngest was in Year 1. She wrote to a few local companies including Dame Kelly who was setting up a café. As soon as they met - a few months later - they started working together straight away. Three years later they have a strong partnership and Andrea works flexible hours depending on the workload and Kelly’s commitments. Andrea will be writing a weekly blog in the run up to the conference - look out for that each Friday. Previously Andrea joined the National Magazine Company after 'A' Levels and passing the London Chamber of Commerce Private Secretary’s Certificate. She was promoted to PA to the Publisher of Esquire Magazine and she worked with several Publisher/Editors covering project management and overseeing advertorial promotions. Under very tight budgets and deadlines she took the client brief and liaised with copy writers and the art team. She assisted with photoshoots and was responsible for getting the final approval before the page went to print. Eight years later she took maternity leave and a career break prior to joining up with Dame Kelly.
